texkat Posted January 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Can anyone tell me if there are easily accessible A/V jacks on the stateroom televisions on the Caribbean Princess? We'll be sailing on the Caribbean Princess with two 11 year olds, and I'd like to know if we should bring a portable DVD player or a Gamecube for some downtime. (Standard inside cabin, if it makes a difference.) Thanks!:)

texkat Posted January 7, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Thanks, Chris! This'll make the boys VERY happy! (Almost as happy as when I told them they could eat hamburgers by the pool every day if they wanted to. :p )
trixie54 Posted January 8, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2005 So could we plug our CD discman into tv & use for speakers? Any special jacks needed?
West Coast Posted January 8, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2005 So could we plug our CD discman into tv & use for speakers? Any special jacks needed? If your CD player has RCA L/R outputs and you take the cables, you will be able to. The tv inputs are RCA V/L/A (Video-in [yellow] Audio-Left/Right [white/red]. You'll need to take your own RCA cables. They have them on amazon.com <-click
mpw2002 Posted January 8, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2005 Using the TV is also a great way to view your pictures from your digital camera. Agian you have to remember to bring the appropriate cable.

texkat Posted January 8, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted January 8, 2005 Great idea! Weeding through the photos so I can delete the bad ones as we go is a lot easier than getting home and doing it all at once. Plus, the kids love to see photos of what they did while the memories are still fresh. :)
