sunquest76 Posted November 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Has anyone turned the couch around to face the wall and had a toddler sleep there? The cabins are so cramped, sounds like a good solution...
beckyjohns Posted November 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Yes, we did when our twins were 20 months old. We turned it around, put a rolled up blanket in the middle of it to serve as a divider and they both slept there. Worked perfect! I had asked for pack-n-plays, but they were so slow getting them to our room that we ended up doing this because the boys needed a nap. Worked so well that when they finally showed up with the pack-n-plays, we sent them back. It was great because they were comfortable there and it left all our floor room for walking around rather than tripping over to cribs.
jam82 Posted November 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Haven't done it, but it's a great idea. I think I will try it.
Julienatul Posted November 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2009 We did it, worked perfectly. My DD never once climbed or fell out and it really is not very high off the ground. We put pillows on the floor next to it just in case.
Sara&family Posted November 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2009 That is a brilliant idea! We are in a Sky Suite on Celebrity, I wonder if the pack n play will cramp the room or the few extra sq ft will make it okay? Also our toddler son doesn't know how to get down, so it may not be a good solution for him, but I am glad I saw this and we'll definitely see how it looks when we get there. hooked-on-travel Posted November 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Thinking about doing this so we don't have to use the bunk bed for 4 y/o. Will the one in an E1 (RCL) be long enough?
