Web Cam in Southampton?

Does anyone know of a web cam in Southamton, so we can see her pull in?

Try this webcam, it's pointing outwards from Ryde, Isle of Wight, and where you're like to see Oasis coming in.

 

Don't think she's coming all the way into Southampton. Though I would like her to. Would get the kettle on!

She is still over 40nm from Southhampton as the crow flies so it will be at least 4 hours before she will dock.

Maybe this AIS Ship Position Tracking is helpful, its simple to use, just select Shipname and the position in

 

SHIPS UNDER WAY

 

Position is refreshed every 10 seconds.

Try the satellit pic thats nice.:rolleyes:

Rumor has it the ship won't be actually docking in Southampton but will use tenders to transport 300 workers ashore in Solent. I see on marinetraffic that the pilot has just boarded the ship.

Looks like she is stopped and the port bow line handling door is open.. I guess that is as far as she is going to go to offload those workers.

The current picture on that webcam looks almost like nighttime. Is it really already that dark at 5:00 p.m.?

At this time its getting dark very quick in England. Look at these pictures between the first and the third are 45 Minutes...
