Tour idea from Genoa to Milan

Hello,

We will be on the Splendida Dec 8-19 and we arrive in Genoa a day and half early. I would like to take the train to Milan and hang out there for the day. I chose Milan because it seem to have the shorter train ride.

 

If anybody have any idea of a tour company in Genoa or have an idea of which city to visit instead of Milan, please feel free to help. Thank you

Certainly you can go to Milan for the day from Genoa. You can also easily explore by train the Italian Riviera. You can spend the day in Portofino, or in the Cinque Terre. Both of these destinations have several detailed threads on how to get there and what to see and do.
