PA8880 Posted November 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2009 Sailing in just two days and I heard there's a tropical storm somewhere in the caribbean. Didn't hear anything on the news today. Wondering if anyone has heard anything??? Would they change the route or skip an island because of a storm??

Pia1913 Posted November 6, 2009 #9 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Ida is now considered a tropical depression; winds only 35 MPH. Sounds like she's bit the dust.

jackdiamond Posted November 6, 2009 #12 Share Posted November 6, 2009 One of my sites now indicates that it may regenerate once it traverses the warm waters of the Gulf. Those of us in Lee County are in the five day tracking cone. However, I believe that those on the Crown Princess will be safe, but it would appear wise to pack your dramamine.
