Questions about childcare on Freedom of the Seas

The 2 options that you will have are in-cabin babysitting and the Fisher Price playsession (I know they have a different name, but I can't remember them right now).

The in-cabin babysitting must be booked at the Purser's desk in advance. There is no guarantee on availability. It depends on whether there are any off-duty staff available. The staff that do the babysitting are just the regular staff. The cost is $10-12/hour.

The play sessions are 45 minutes each day. A parent must stay with the child. The time and location will be in the cruise compass. There is no charge or signup for these.
