imacruizer Posted November 20, 2009 #26 Share Posted November 20, 2009 I did my best impersonation of Audrey Hepburn whilst in Rome on the QV in April!!!!! Susan :D No better place to dress like Audrey Hepburn than on one of the Queens! What fun!
Rare nellydean Posted November 23, 2009 #27 Share Posted November 23, 2009 On our July 2004 TA we were in the Planetarium when who should come and sit next to us but Oscar-winning film director Lord Puttnam, of Chariots of Fire fame. My husband and kids had already found themselves in the lift with him, and done the usual slow-motion run away when they got out (I bet he's fed up of that by now :)). Anyway, he was on board as a lecturer, but was very boring unfortunately!

All that flowing water murmuring soft and low! I'd never be out of the loo. J

Cruachan Posted November 24, 2009 #32 Share Posted November 24, 2009 James, James, what's a little in-convenience compared to your heart's desire. Gari Well being permanently in the convenience could be regarded as being rather in-convenient. Where'd you find that old rag for your avatar? garigoun Posted November 24, 2009 #33 Share Posted November 24, 2009 Where'd you find that old rag for your avatar? J I thought it rather spiffy, I went all nostalgic when I saw it. Anyway it was time the old cap'n had some time off he's been on watch for 18 months now. That's nearly as long as a Bank Line trip.
