Caye Caulker snorkeling

We are planning on taking the water taxi over to Caye Caulker. Is it possible to find someone to take us out to snorkel once we get off the water taxi. Otherwise we can walk to the Split. We have our own gear.

We don't want to commit to Coral Breezes because if the weather is iffy, or the water has been churned up we want the freedom to change our mind.

We are very experienced DIY travelers and are used to figuring out timelines to get back to the ship on time, this is our first trip to Belize.

;) yes to both, you can find someone to take you snorkeling or you can walk to the Split. Just turn left when you get off the dock and dodge the golf-cart guys wanting to drive you somewhere.

 

Be sure to double check the ship-time/local time thing, and consider trying to avoid the last possible water taxi back- take the one before that to save your sanity :cool:
