NCL Luggage Tags?

Haven't sailed with NCL for a few years, but will be May, 2010 (to Bermuda on the Spirit). Since other cruiselines seem to be going with the "print-your-own" luggage tags along with the e-docs, is this the case also for NCL, or would we receive in the mail?

You will get Print your Own tags in the e-docs.....you may also get pre-printed ones in the mail....hard to tell that far out.

Thanks for your response! Just missed having to do this with Princess--received the tags in the mail for our October cruise, but now folks are saying they have to print their tags along with the rest of the docs. Guess this is the way all in the lines are going in the future, so we'll be prepared to probably have to print-our-own for the upcoming cruise.

My last cruise I printed them but also did get them in the mail, the printed ones that I laminated in tape were far superior to the ones they sent.

Did print mine out also. But did get some mailed to me within 4 weeks off the cruise.

Am sailing this month on the Gem and just got the Welcome Aboard booklet along with pre-printed luggage tags by mail. I've never printed them off the computer. If I don't have them (or change cabins) I just get the tags from the porter.

I just printed out our docs and noticed that the luggage tags don't say VIP on them even though we are in an AB suite. When did they stop using the VIP on tags and does anyone know why? Not that it matters because the bags will get to you anyway, I'm just wondering.
