Pricing Typo

So, I'm on RC's website checking the price of our 5/23 cruise on the Mariner and I see something that caught my eye. The price of the JS category W is $100,158.00 per person or $200,316.00 for the room.:eek: I know this is a mistake, but it still made me giggle.

Maybe you can now buy cabins, similar to condos. :p

 

I know it was a typo, but that concept has worked out well on the "World," where folks buy condo suites on a never ending cruise. $$$ :eek:

When RCCL updates their website on Sundays the prices often get messed up in the process. I would check back later today, or tomorrow. It should be resolved.

when you see those very high prices, it is not a typo. it is a placeholder. it usually means that shortly they will use that catagory but not yet.:rolleyes:

They use that when a category is nearly sold out. It is funny though, not sure why they can't just close the category when it happens.

DING DING DING we have a winner.

It´s not a typo and has nothing to do with a cat. almost sold out. They always put those prices in there while they are updating the website / pricing. This way nobody will book during the update process.

Those prices appeared last Tuesday during the Tuesday Specials and it was for all Mariner sailings in May of 2010. I didn't check other months.
