First Timer Help

Recommended Posts

Most of the travelers in my family are first timers and we are looking for opinions on where to go in port. We are: Me 33, dh 33, dd 4, brother 30, sis in law 26 (pregnant), mom 59 and dad 58. We may or may not split up in port but would like some general ideas on what you may have tried & liked. We are not big into hanging out on a beach all day. We obviously have some hinderances with a 4 year old and a pregnant woman. Any ideas on some things we could all do together for at least part of the day or even things some of us may enjoy splitting up on?

For first timers to Cayman, without a doubt, you should do a stingray sandbar trip. The water is only 3-4' deep so no worry for the 4 year old. If the mom to be can't climb down the ladder to the water, she can watch from the boat. This is a truly amazing site.

You could also do a Atlantis submarine trip but it would be pretty expensive for a big group.

A trip to the turtle farm, botanical garden and butterfly farm could also provide some nice activities and opportunities for scenery.

If you do some of the land things, you could spend some time on 7 mile beach. To visit Cayman and not enjoy the worlds clearest water would be almost sinful.
