holiday queen 500 Posted November 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2009 Hi, going on our 2nd visit to St Lucia next month this time with two kids, ages 1.5 and almost 4. We did Rodney Bay beach last time, and are considering venturing down to the Pitons. Is it too far to expect my two little ones to be patient, and is it worth it, will they be bored? thanks, Tracy
queenL Posted November 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2009 Well, I only have one tot but she did just fine when we went. We went on a tour (not through the ship), I can't remember the name of it, but it is really popular on these boards. So, we saw other things too including the Pitons. It was all day long but she did really well. Not sure she knew where we were nor did she care but she did fine! :)
cruisinbanddirectors Posted November 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2009 I bet the tour guide you're talking about queenL was Cosol. My DH and I toured with him 2 years ago and had a BLAST...best tour we ever went on! Holiday queen, we're planning a cruise for next summer which will be our DS (he'll be just over 2 at the time) and one of the ones we're looking at is the Carnival Victory which goes to St. Lucia, and we'd want to go on Cosol's tour, but we're debating if there will be enough to capture a tot that age's attention...could be, but it's a LONG tour (which on our first cruise was a good thing...got our money's worth). FYI, it's also a VERY curvy ride! :) Whatever you decide, have fun...it's my favorite island!
