How High The Waves.....

The waves on the 13th November were also engulfing the Chart Room on Deck 3 everynow and again a rogue allegedly broke over Deck 7 closing all the outside decks. Later that day one rogue hit the Commodore Club, causing many casualties in the Bar (the bottles of spirits!). It was quite a ride and I wish I had been comfortable enough to make it up the Commodore Club late that afternoon, but I was feeling a bit under the weather!

Sue,

I am glad you survived the rough trip across the pond. I was worried about you, remembering your concern about the conditions before you left home. I will admit that at times the ride is rougher in the Commodore Club, but at least you can see the horizon:cool:.

Am curious as to why QM2 does not do the Winter Crossing. Queen Victoria would seem to be the better choice to send round the Carib.

Would it not be tossed about enough?

I personally would rather Cross on QM during the winter, but sacrifices will have to be made, as I fancy myself a future member of WCrC.

Cheers
