cacj Posted November 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2009 When doing a cruise search for Hawaii, I realized that the Dec 12 (our scheduled cruise) is no longer listed....at least I have not seen it in the past 2 days....Does NCL drop it off their results when the cruise is sold out, or should I be worried? Fishbait17 Posted November 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2009 NCL.com often drops cruises off their listing when the sailing day gets close - whether they are sold out or not. Our cruise for 12/20 is definitely NOT sold out, but has been coming and going from the site for the last week or so - even now it appears but is unable to book. But I have spoken with NCL and there is a lot of availability. I suspect they are finalizing TA holds, placing Guarantee staterooms, and making evaluations for possible upsells. If you need to book another stateroom, just call NCL to see if there are cabins available. Robin
cacj Posted November 12, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Thanks Robin....I had never experienced this before, and I was thinking it might have to do with TA and other inventory reloads. Thanks again.
CherWolf2 Posted November 13, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2009 My 12/8 cruise doesn't appear on NCL.com, but does show availability on Travelocity.
flashdog_1 Posted November 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 13, 2009 To be sure that you have your reservation for the given date, go to NCL.com MY NCL and see if you are still showing your cabin. If a cruise is chartered for that week, surely they'd have informed you already.
cacj Posted November 13, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Thanks, flashdog, I did go and it is still there...so I am relaxed about it...it is always something new to learn when dealing with NCL searches.
