Just booked 8086 on Brilliance! Cabin question though...

Can anyone give me more specifics on this cabin? I have been relentless researching the boards, cruise websites, etc. to find a good location in our price range. Has anyone stayed in this E-1 cabin on the hump?

Hi,

 

Just got off the Brilliance April 30th. Had cabin 8102 on the bump, Aft. Was a wonderful cabin, and a huge balcony that had deck chairs, regular chairs and a table. Made a great place to have coffe in the morning. Being on the aft side we had no wind, we were very pleased.

Great selection. It's one of the best E1 cabins available. The balcony is larger than the 41 sq. ft. listed and you will be able to see forward and down. Good location right near the elevators also and don't worry about noise, you won't even know they are there. It's a beautiful ship and great ports, which ever itinerary you're going on. Be sure to book your reservations in Chops and Portofino's early, you might be dissappointed in the food and service in the main dining room, or you may not. Keep an open mind and have a great cruise.

Stretch - Which would you prefer on the Brilliance - 7594 or 7604? I'm in 7594 right now but the other just came available. Thanks for all the additional information. For me, it would take a lot of disappointments for me not to have a great cruise. I'm not at work and I'm away from everything, what could be better? Thanks, April

Shagzie, You're comparing a cat. D to a Cat E. If you're looking to save some money, go with 7604, both are nice cabins, you've just got more cabin and balcony space in 7594. The location of either is great. If you're planning on spending quite a bit of time in your cabin, or on the balcony, stay with 7594. We had the same cabin as 7604 on deck 8 last year, but this year we got an aft Cat D. on deck 9. If an aft cabin hadn't been available, I would have stuck with my Cat E on the hump.

Stretch - both are cat. E's but 7594 is E1 while the 7604 is an E3. The E1 is a total of $20 more for the both of us. I'm still waiting for an aft to open up. Cheers!! April
