Local time?

I am leaving on a cruise next week that departs from Ft. Lauderdale. I have an excursion planned in San Juan where I am supposed to meet the guides at 10:00. Our ship is in San Juan from 10:00am - 11:00 pm. Does that mean we arrive at 10:00 San Juan local time, or 10:00 Ft. Lauderdale time? (It's an hour difference) I always thought that we kept to the ship's time, but now I am wondering if we acknowledge the local time. Can anyone help??? Please!! Thanks.

You are right, it is confusing. This happens every winter with cruise time vs ship time.

Though I would check with your tour guide to make sure...

I would assume he knows when the ship comes in (local time vs ship time). Even if he gets to the dock at 10am local time and the ship has not arrived yet, I assume he will wait until the ship arrives.
