San Juan Casinos

Can anyone help me with a little information about the Casino's in San Juan?

I will be spending the night before my Carnival cruise at the Marriott Courtyard out in Isla Verde. I know that they have a casino and that there are larger ones close by. Do they have Video Poker at bars with TV's for watching sports? I don't think they have Sports Books. We arrive on Dec. 5th and the SEC championship game is that evening at 5:00. We would like to watch the game with friends in some place other than a hotel room. A casino is usually a very good place to watch a game and grab something to eat. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

There are some nice casinos in Isla Verde. There is a relatively large one (not large compared to Atlantic City or Vegas) at the El San Juan Towers. It's been a few years since I've been there so I don't remember exactly what they had. But, it was a top-notch casino---very swanky and elegant. In fact, I was there with friends who were flight crew members on their lay-over. One person in our party was refused entry to the casino because he was not properly dressed----he was in cut-offs and a sweatshirt. I would call the El San Juan or go online to see if they have the amenities you are looking for.
