Yes, all Carnival ships have at least a couple of laundry rooms.

EVERY Carnival ship has a laundry room on every full passenger cabin deck. Only decks with all public spaces or mixed public and cabins do not have a laundry room on that deck.

There is a laundry room on the Lido deck of the Truimph and the Glory.

but usually found at ship's aft, on the inside of the corridor between the inside staterooms. I know all ships aren't created equally, but the ones we have been on have had the laundry room in this general area.

To find exact locations, go to this website : http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/CL-Carnival.php , open the ship you're interested in, then 'extras' and the deck you're on, at the top it has the locations of the laundry rooms.

Ouch!!! :( Guess I better bring a couple rolls of quarters! Or forget about packing light and just pay the fee for an extra suitcase! It's almost a wash (no pun intended-well maybe a little).

I don't remember it being on my full cabin deck (Main Deck) when I was on Fascination, I remember having to go up or down a deck. But it was there and was useful!

 

Also, I don't remember (but will want to know for my next cruise): do I need cash or can I use S&S to pay the laundry room machine fees/buy soap?

On the Miracle it was quarters only!

Not necessary, you can get quarters at the purser's desk.:)

I've seen them hand rolls of quarters to people and most ships are going 'coinless' in the casinos, so may not have the coin buckets anymore!
