AK Wife Posted November 16, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 16, 2009 but usually found at ship's aft, on the inside of the corridor between the inside staterooms. I know all ships aren't created equally, but the ones we have been on have had the laundry room in this general area. Good luck! Twila
cathyz Posted November 16, 2009 #9 Share Posted November 16, 2009 To find exact locations, go to this website : http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/CL-Carnival.php , open the ship you're interested in, then 'extras' and the deck you're on, at the top it has the locations of the laundry rooms. cathyz Posted November 16, 2009 #12 Share Posted November 16, 2009 So it's $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry? No, it's $3 to wash and $3 to dry and $1 if you want to buy soap.
gargoyle999 Posted November 16, 2009 #13 Share Posted November 16, 2009 No, it's $3 to wash and $3 to dry and $1 if you want to buy soap. Ouch!!! :( Guess I better bring a couple rolls of quarters! Or forget about packing light and just pay the fee for an extra suitcase! It's almost a wash (no pun intended-well maybe a little).
Aoumd Posted November 16, 2009 #14 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I don't remember it being on my full cabin deck (Main Deck) when I was on Fascination, I remember having to go up or down a deck. But it was there and was useful! Also, I don't remember (but will want to know for my next cruise): do I need cash or can I use S&S to pay the laundry room machine fees/buy soap? Just curious. Thanks!

gargoyle999 Posted November 16, 2009 #17 Share Posted November 16, 2009 Not necessary, you can get quarters at the purser's desk.:) Do they have actual rolls or do they just hand you a pile of loose ones? Maybe I'll need to grab one of those cups from the casino before doing my laundry! :p
