JHA65 Posted November 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2009 Im curious if the Oasis holds 5000 passangers and there are only 32 to 45 excursions available per stop how many people roughly will be on each excursion? I guess what Im asking is how many passangers will RC allow on each excursion? I know everyone will not do an excursion but still 5000 passangers!!!!!!!! JHA JHA, I imagine that there will be multiples of the same excursions. On our last Freedom cruise there were several excursions that were broken into multiple groups. For instance rather than having one "Jungle Trek" (not a real tour - just an example), there were 10+ groups (each group about 40 people) so they could handle 400 folks. I would guess that the tour companies will be hiring many more buses and guides to accomodate Oasis' huge crowds when she hits a port. Frankly, this is going to be very interesting to see how the hoards of cruisers are going to be handled in a timely manner. We have to assume (you know what that usually gets you...) that the tour companies have this figured out. They know how many folks to expect on tours and will be staffing up for that. If not we are all screwed... :D -------------------------- Sea ya!
