lorigray14 Posted November 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2009 After the cruise, we are heading to Magic Kingdom for 2 days, so I would like to do a load or two of laundry. Can anyone tell me how much for a wash, and dry, and do you charge it, does it take dollars bills or coins. Thanks.
mom x4,grandma x4 Posted November 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2009 You can use your key to the world card for the washers and dryers and it is charged to your account. So no need to bring change or ones for change machines. It's so much easier that way. I think it was $2 to wash and the same to dry. They do sell little boxes of detergents and fabric softeners for the same price too. I think Tide and bounce dryer sheets. Early morning is the least crowded times. disneygirlj Posted November 21, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2009 Unless the price went up, on the Magic last year, we did 2 loads of laundry -- washed and dried. It was really economical -- $1 to wash and $1 to dry and they dried in 1 cycle! I brought laundry soap with me -- dry, small packages. The laundry facility is a tight squeeze so try to time it when others are occupied.
Majesty Fan Posted November 21, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2009 On the ship we bought with those Purex washer/dryer sheets with us. We used them at WDW at KV (free) and then on the ship for a minimal cost. Lexi
