precruise hotel and shuttle????

Check the homeports board for Port Canaveral. I believe there are many ideas listed.

I would personally look for a hotel near mco that you like that will offer an airport shuttle that late or even the hotel right in the airport. My parents stayed there and thought it was very nice. I think it is either a Hyatt or Marriott.

For port transportation, I would consider several options. First, you can always buy the transfers from the cruise line. Those are great because they offer baggage handling and drop you right at the entrance of the port terminal. Next would be a private car/limo. Then consider a rental car. There are several near the port where you can drop it off then take their shuttle to the pier.

My personal favorite option for ease and low stress is the airport hotel with cruise line transfers. Depending on the cruise line, you might get a quote from them for a pre cruise hotel with transfers option.

Then, it is up to you how much you want to spend and how much stress you want at the beginning of your vacation.
