Best place to whale watch on Mexican Riviera.

Recommended Posts

While on a cruise in the Sea of Cortez in February, we took an excursion across the baja to the Magdelana Bay. This is the grounds where the whales will winter. Words can not express the excitement we had. Small groups were sent out into the bay in 'pangas' and had VERY close encounters - to the point where we were able to see their eyes. A mother even pushed her calf up to the surface so that we got a better look at her baby! If you are there don't miss the opportunity to go on a whale watch.

Whale+Watching+(2).JPGOur whale watching tour in Cabo in '08 was the highlight of our trip. It was on a beautiful sparsely populated and CLEAN boat, with a crew that catered to your every whim. Unlimited and great margaritas, snacks, and did I mention.. whales!

Seriously, probably the best excursion I've ever booked.. try the RISSALENA, a white catamaran. I did a search and some things may have changed, but I booked through this email address...
