Stealing from the cruise ship

Stealing is stealing, wherever or however it happens (yes, claiming casino credits that are not yours, or retrieving quarters from the "thingy" is still stealing. ) So sure they should have booted them off the ship. I would have called the police at that port and have them ready and waiting, too.

Who lays out $500 plus for the room, plus $300 or so in expenses, then proceeds to steal $25 chips from casino patrons ?

I agree that stealing is stealing..they got what they deserved, but I'm curious to know how you knew they were "missing". I've been on many cruises where I've never seen or heard my neighbors or maybe saw them once the 1st day and never again. The reason I ask is, on my Sept. Glory cruise we heard both our neighbors out on their balconies 1st day. We often heard family to our left after that, but never saw or heard a peep from the family on our right. Now I wonder if they got booted off !! LOL

My thoughts as well.....

I really don't understand how you know your 'neighbors' are 'missing', and if you are aware of it then I think you're spending too much time keeping track of strangers.....

it just seems really bizarre to me.

But, yeah..of course CCL was right to toss them off the ship.

Dear all,

I finished coming back from the Carnival Valor couple weeks ago. And I noticed my neighbor's was no longer on board after the 3rd day. When i asked the cabin steward what happened to them , he let me know that his wife was caught stealing in the Casino and he was caught stealing some where else on board the ship. (Perhaps the gift shop or photo dept , not too sure). Both where up to no good.

The authorities kicked them off the ship at the 1st port of call !

Do you think the ship did the right thing from getting rid of the bad

apples ? I want to hear your opinions .

The only judge and jury on a cruise ship in international waters is the ship's captain....

I've usually heard of it referred to as "pillaging and plundering" at least in the Disney sense of pirates...

Well... that's Disney. If they ever animated a depiction of the Rape of the Sabine Women, I'm sure they'd substitute the word 'abduction'.

Have any of you looked on EBay and see what is sold there from the cruise lines. There was one where they sold 15 of the Carnival Linen Napkins for $35.00, they have had bed pillows, linens and all kinds of things that are not sold to the public by Carnival. I would tell people not to buy the stuff that they know Carnival does not sell because I think that is also against the law too (buying stolen property).
