shipped our 2 suitcases as we have done MANY times prevuiously .Never had any problems. Our shipper(name withheld until they help us out.. with our promised price reduction.....) said it was a problem to send luggage to a ship in Capetown, so we were to send it to our hotel....The Table Bay...We received an email from Fedex on 11/18 (they had picked it up on the 10th) that the luggage was delivered. When we arrived at the hotel on the 2oth,,,,,,,NO LUGGAGE!!!! forgoing all the gory details.....the luggage was in

Johannesburg ????????????????? Spent 1 & 1/2 days of anguish filling out forms AGAIN.. that had been done originally..had to have our passports revalidated....finally after a great deal of phone calls.....and $$ spent in tips for all the help from the hotel (which was not involved at all)...that story next.....our luggage was delivered to our hotel in time for us to board our ship.......Needless to say we were both exhausted & completely enervated from this experience.Today, after 4 days on board we are both back to being relaxed as we should be...Just wanted all to be aware of what could happen when shipping luggage. By the way we contacted our shipper from the hotel before we could contact FEDEX, and NEVER heard from them......shall let you know the name of the shipper if I've not heard from him by tomorrow.....
