Froufie Posted November 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Deciding upon our 'stinray city' tour in Grand Cayman - looking at Nativeways and Moby Dick - also found this: http://www.grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com/StingrayCityRumPointBeach.htm Wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tour or tour company? Any feedback greatly appreciated! Thanks,
babebutters Posted November 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Froufie, I have used the same company in Cozumel and they were great; very professional and responsive. Best, Kathryn
Kim.cc Posted November 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2009 We've used them too in a couple of places now. You can search for info on them here in cruise critic. They are party of Island marketing. We are booked on the same tour you're looking at !!! Can't wait
Mamasitarica Posted December 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2009 I just booked an excursion with them for GC and Cozumel. My boat leaves on 12/14. I can let you know when I get back.
MrPotatoeHead Posted December 6, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2009 We're thinking of using them too for our cruise on Jan 12th. Sent them a form requesting availability so we'll see. They seem to have one with 3 stops that sounds good -- I think they call it the Bucanneer tour.
nybumpkin Posted December 6, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 6, 2009 Remember that Island Marketing is a booking agent, not the tour operator. They have contracts with individual tour operators - it frees up the tour operators from doing their own bookings (especially if they're one-person operations). We have booked tours through Island Marketing twice, once in GC and once in St. Maarten; both bookings worked fine and the tours were very good. In both cases, we paid a deposit with Island Marketing when we booked the tour (I assume this is their booking fee) and then paid the balance to the tour operator.
