Artemis Part Obstructed View Cabins

We had B601 or was it 610?? no problems at all, a bit of lifeboat slightly in view but fine. The cabins on prom deck have people walking past, the glass is one way but still unnerving! don't turn the light on without drawing the cutains! Cabins a bit old fashioned but we loved the ship.

Thanks I have no doubt the brochure diagrams are more of a general nature rather than an accurate guide seems like a pot luck job unless you know in advance.

From what you say think it was probably B610 if so I will bear it in mind.

We had a prom deck cabin on Oceana earlier this year and soon found the one way window worked fine during daylight but not so good as soon as the lights went on, we had drawn the curtains by then anyway so did not find it a problem :)

Hi

We have been on Artemis twice, our first cabin was on B deck (forward) which was fine. on our second cruise we had a forward prom deck cabin, horrendous, the noise from the bow thrusters was awful, didn't help when captain decided to dock at 4.30am, my advice is to avoid forward prom deck cabins, consequently on our next Artemis cruise we have gone for B deck midships.

Thanks for all the advice, this forum is a great idea.

We have booked a twin unobstructed on C deck and looking forward to it.

Artemis is the only P&O ship we have not cruised in so were keen to do so before she is sold out of the company. :):)
