RENMama Posted November 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2009 And figure out what everyone will be wearing and such. Weve cruised with kids before so we know what to pack and generally pack pretty light. Our Christmas shopping is mostly done. Sending out holiday cards this week. Im excited to finally be going on this cruise as it seems we have been planning forever! Carnival Dream, western caribbean, we are coming soon! We are staying in one of the family oceanviews that sleeps 5 and has 1.5 baths. Our kids are 8,4,2. I will try to have a nice review and answer questions when we get back. We are traveling with 9 adults and 6 kids (8,8,6,6,4,2). Should be fun.

Look forward to reading your review - especially of the new family staterooms - 1 1/2 baths - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh :p
RENMama Posted December 1, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted December 1, 2009 Kids 8,8,6,6,4,2, God bless you Actually with this group of kids they are usually more behaved together. My 8yo son is toned down by his 8 yo girl friend. The 6 yr old girls will keep each other in check as they are both good kids. And the 8 yo and 6yo girls love to "watch" the younger 2. The only issue is the 4yo boy is going to get stuck with this 2 yo sister in the kids club and he may be a bit sad at first. But weve talked to him about it and he seems okay with all the cool toys and new friends he will meet. He will be fine. I did buy an over the door shoe organizer this time. I am not bringing a stroller. We are bringing grandparents who LOVE to watch the kids. :)
