Perhaps a visit to the Pedro St James historic site and/or the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park would fill your needs? These are on the less-traveled eastern end of the island and would take in some real Caymanian treasures.

Pedro St James (also known as Pedro's Castle) is an old Caribbean Great House and is considered the birthplace of democracy in the Cayman Islands. http://www.pedrostjames.ky/

The Botanic Park offers a nature trail walk as well as flower gardens and a Cayman cottage grounds to tour. http://www.botanic-park.ky/

Add a short stop out in Gun Bay to see the overlook of the Wreck of the Ten Sails and grab a true Cayman style lunch at Miss Vivine's Kitchen. http://www.caymangoodtaste.com/restaurants_detail.asp?restaurantID=87

With a group of 12, many tour companies could coordinate a tour customized to your group. They can arrange transportation and entry to various attractions.
