cave tubing , any crocodiles??

This might sound crazy ,but does anyone know if there are crocodiles where the cave tubing is done, my mom saw a tv show about belize and says they have them. We are going in June and were going to do it, but now am nervous!!

while there are plenty of crocs in Belize, they are not found in the area where you go cave tubbing. Hundreds of people go cave tubbing everyday and crocs don't like to be around large amounts of people.

None in the rivers where the tubing is done. crocks don't like that water. On the way to the rivers you will see mangroves like we have in florida and that is where many of the crocks live. Water is cool crystal clear. very refreshing.

We went cave-tubing this past May.....no crocs.

Thanks everyone!! I have been canoeing in Florida, and came across an alligator, I got so scared I stood up and fell out of the canoe!! It was not a pretty sight, don't want to repeat that!

I posted this question a few months ago and was assured by several people that there aren't any "slimy" things in the water!

The only creature besides humans you'll find in the water are the resident dogs at Jaguar Paw!! We had a couple of them swim down the river with us.... It was funny, you would be slowly floating along and here comes a dog paddling right by you!

I think the crocs ate all the snakes. (BTW-neither are slimy)
