RoyalCaribbeanLover Posted December 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2009 Wanted to alert all of you flying in this weekend to Houston that we may have a freeze and snow. I know that it doesn't seem like a big deal to some of you up North, but Houston shuts down in freezes and snows. So please check your flights the next couple of days. I am happy my husband and I are flying out tomorrow morning for Ft Lauderdale for the inaugural of Oasis of the Seas! Safe travel to everyone :)

Texas Teen Posted December 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I know this is like an hour after my last post, but my computer freezed up after saving two radar images, and I had to reboot!!! (I ran the radar through an animation to get the 4:11 image) Anyway, I realized the radar was updating on it's own on my last post, so here are radar images from today that won't update and be gone tommorrow:

springtxbill Posted December 28, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2009 The snow was caused by the wife and I. It was our 4th cruise out of San Juan and all 4 times it has snowed in Houston while we were gone. That's about like winning the Powerball 4 times.:)

Safe travel to everyone :) ------------------------------------------------------------------ I am looking at 10 day weather forecast for houston and NO indication of that until MAYBE next Tuesday. Not prior to weekend, the weekend or Monday at all! And that does not include galveston at all. Ships will leave Saturday Sunday Or Monday. Remember Houston is a large city, and weather can be quite different from one end to another. There is major difference between far North Houston and Galveston. Yes please check your flights anyway.
