You have a few options for your bags. You can leave them at Macy's in Horton Plaza until 5 pm, (about 8-10 blocks up Broadway).....or you can drop them off at one of the hotels nearby and pay the bellman to watch them. The Holiday Inn is across the street from the pier and the Embassy Suites is just 3-4 blocks south.

There is no luggage storage at the port/pier.

 

You cannot check luggage at the airport earlier than 4 hours prior to your flight.

 

If you go to the Zoo, there is a place you can check your luggage there.

 

Otherwise, rent a car or van and keep your luggage in the trunk (out of sight). Be careful where you park. There are guards for the Zoo parking lot, but that is no guarantee.
