Toto2Kansas Posted December 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2009 We have sailed many times on the Sun, Dawn and Sea Princess (all designed the same). The balcony cabins are a bit smaller on this class of ship, but doable. The balcony is the only drawback as it is approximately three and a half feet deep by the width of your cabin, which is about 9 feet wide. There is only enough room on the balcony for a small round table and two straight back chairs. Still room on the balcony to sit or stand for enjoying the ocean or a coffee, light breakfast or drink before dinner though. All the balcony's are totally covered, so there isn't really a choice there for covered or uncovered. Just prepare to be very organized in your stateroom and you will be fine. :)
Nukesailor Posted December 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2009 As Toto says, the balconies are small, but functional. No loungers, but the chairs are adequate. The table is a little small and if you do breakfast on the balcony (and you should!) you may have to juggle the plates and cups a little. But you can't beat the view! The Sun Princess is one of our favorite ships. Art
