Things to do near Hyatt Regency Miami???

I just got the Hyatt Regency on Priceline for $55. I'm so excited! Anyways, I was wondering what kind of things there are to do in that area. I'm planning on using SAS to bring us there from FLL, so we won't have a car. What kind of things are there to do within walking distance? I've seen pictures of River walkway, is that close by? Also I saw that the people mover is right next door, how much does it cost to get to the Bayside Market from there? Are there any restaurants within walking distance? Thanks a lot!!!

Bayside is a bit of a walk. Better to talk a taxi. Mary Brickell village is not far either. The one thing I didn't like about the Hyatt was the heavy traffic in front of the hotel. I think there is a highway on/off ramp right there/ Route 836 I think. Hotel itself was very nice with a friendly staff. $55 room helps pay for the taxis, so go enjoy Miami.
