We are thinking about using Silver Moon for the 1/2 day snorkel with the Turtles and Shipwreck. Does this tour get very crowded. We did a tour a few years ago and there were like 50 people on it.

The size of the crowd is basically limited to the size of the boat.. SilverMoon is a smaller Catamaran and a great operation .. I'd highly recommend them for your adventure.

Thanks for your quick reply. !! I think we are gonna do it. We leave for SJU this Friday and leave on Sat and are in Barbados next Thurs...so we need to finalize something soon. Thanks again...

just an fyi.. you are in port that day with 3 other ships.. if you haven't already made your plans, I'd suggest contacting the SilverMoon people directly to confirm. You can certainly ask the question about the number they take on board.. how many does the boat hold at any given time. This will give you an idea of what to expect.

The Silvermoon tour has either 12 or 24 people on it depending on which Catamaran you pick. We did the 12 person back in 1995 and loved it. In January we are on the 24 person and I'm sure will be just a s nice.

Another great company to try if you can not get a reservation for Silvermoon is Heatwave. The are located at the Boatyard. We just used them in Nov, and had a fantastic day. There were only 8 of us on the Heatwave catamaran in Barbados the day we went, and I would highly recommend this company ....
