Water temps In Dec

We are leaving on our cruise in a little over a week. Does anyone know what the water temps are now in Cozumel. I am a warm blooded floridian and wondering if I need my wet suit to snorkel..

DW and I did just came off Carnival Legend and did the Deluxe sail, snorkel and beach party excursion on the fury. The snorkeling was great, water warm and very clear. You won't need a wet suit.

I googled that information earlier tonight. According to weather.com, the average water temperature in December is between 76 and 78 degrees. Hope this helps.

That has been my experience. For water temps like those, I need a wetsuit. Everyone's cold tolerance is different, so I can't say if you'd need one or not.
