Help Quick - Serenade Questions

We're leaving this weekend for the Serenade and my husband is dying to know if there is a sports bar where he can watch the Jet game on Saturday night. Also, does anybody know if there is a movie theater on board??

 

Thanks for the help. I think I might have trouble getting my husband on the ship if he can't watch football.

There is a sports bar with several large screen televisions right behind the casino on deck 6(forward). They are not always able to get a feed to whatever you want to watch,but once you board you can at least find out what they think will be available so you can plan your time.

Whoops, didn't answer the theatre question. Yes,there is a small theatre(no popcorn) that shows a movie a day (nothing first run, but typically fairly recent) with a couple different show times.

Just returned from the Serenade this past weekend... we were able to watch the USC/Oklahoma game while onboard and the bar was actually packed that night(usually there isn't a soul in the place). Like Laurie said, there can be issues with certain broadcasts... either break-up of signal(Sat signal) or block out conditions... I can't see why you wouldn't get the game but the NFL can be wierd when it comes to broadcasting rights... much more so restrictive than the NCAA.
