RumRunner01 Posted May 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Yes, I got off the AOS on May 12 and the previous two days you could see evidence of getting ready to go into dry dock. They were replacing carpet on stairs, taking inventory in our cabins of what needed replacing/repairing, etc. Though I thought it was in good shape anyway. You'll have a beautiful ship to sail on next Sunday. I envy you! Adventure of the Seas 05/02/
babs275 Posted May 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Our cabin steward said one of the main reasons she was going into dry dock was to work on the water system - the "sometimes discolored water" causes them a lot more work to keep everything stain free. so the water was to be worked on and the cabins were to get "deep cleaning".
