Beachin' it with a toddler!

Hi,

My dh, our 20 month old son and myself are cruising next month and are looking for a nice beach to take our son. We'd like something with some shade, sandy beach, clear water and it must have restrooms. I originally thought 7 mile beach, but it looks as though there is not much shade there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

however, you would need to rent a car to get there. We were there last week and I was struck by how many families were there with small children. Made sense -- the water is shallow, there is a lot of shade, there is a clean changing room, and a snack bar.

And it is beautiful!
