stephic411 Posted December 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2009 I was thinking about it just now and just curious what time does Carnival stop serving alcohol? I have been on RCCL and CCL and can not seem to remember..I was thinking it was 2:00am? Anyone know? We are night owls so that is why we are very curious.. Thanks! There is no set time that I have ever heard of, and I am up pretty late sometimes. I believe the bars just shut down along with the clubs they are in. I know I have seen some of ther bars open well past 2 am.
mdrobtx Posted December 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2009 After a big win in the casino, I asked the manager to reopen the casino bar around 3am to enable us to celebrate. It just depends on the drunks.:p
falkcor Posted December 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2009 they don't stop offering alcohol, they just stop 'serving' it when the individual bars / lounges shut down. typically the latest bars will be open until 3.30-4AM or so. the disco is the last 'lounge' area to close often, the casino bar is typically open pretty late, and then a lido deck bar (in my experience, aft) will be open the latest. karaoke shuts down early-ish... the lobby bar shortly thereafter... the piano bar service often shuts before the piano player stops... the casino bar and the disco are often at about the same interval, then look for the lido deck bar. :) but, even after that, you can still order beer and such from room service... i don't think that room service alcohol delivery ever 'closes' :D
Deckhawk Posted December 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2009 Normally the bars close up around 4:00am. On the last cruise we tried to order "room service" to one of the closed bars - didn't work. But maybe it is worth trying again. :)

I just read this at the bottom of the room service menu posted on cruise critic.

cathyz Posted December 21, 2009 #18 Share Posted December 21, 2009 Anybody have the answer for this?? When on vacation I love something in my OJ at breakfast..:) Bulldog The earliest I've seen is 8:00 a.m. for maybe one bar, then a few open at 9:00 a.m. as does room service. Some of the bars will have drink specials from 8 or 9 to noon, i.e. $3.95 or $4.25 or so for regular screwdrivers, mimosas, blood marys.

Where I live those prices are not that bad.. Thankfully when on vacation I buget for such things..;) The earliest I've seen is 8:00 a.m. for maybe one bar, then a few open at 9:00 a.m. as does room service. Stan Gable Posted December 24, 2009 #20 Share Posted December 24, 2009 There has never been a minute on the ship where I have not been able to find a drink for sale. I think I have probably had a drink during every hour of the day. Sometimes it takes a little work and maneuvering (Usually the 4, 5, 6 am hour intervals), but there is always a way. chachi Posted January 4, 2010 #24 Share Posted January 4, 2010 There has never been a time when I wasn't able to find alcohol. It seems like there is always someone there willing to serve me! And it doesn't matter what time I wake up in the morning, there is always someone there. I love it!
