Holetown- worth a visit?

Has anyone visited Holetown? and if so is it worth a visit? Or should we just visit Bridgetown?

We were in Holetown last February mainly to go to the beach which was suggested by the taxi driver.

 

I didn't see anything that would make it a tourist attraction. It had a mall across from the beach where we bought a few things, had lunch and used the internet service.

 

The beach was nice but probably not as enjoyable as Accra which we stopped at in early November.

 

If you want to shop in more traditional stores and see local sites I'd stay in Bridgetown.

If you will be on the island around Feburary 15th then Holetown is a must. That is when the Holetown festival takes place. Else not much to see or do there.
