I've checked every way possible to do it, but it won't work. We leave at 5 that day, which means you must be back by 4:30.

I highly suggest taking a day trip to Anguilla instead. Just give yourself plenty of time to get back, as we spent an hour in traffic! I think we took an 8 am ferry and came back on a 2 pm one from Marigot.

The Voyager ferry service does daily trips to/from St. Maarten and St. Barts. The ferry ride will take 40 minutes.

Since the ship will be in port on Wednesday, I recommend taking the ferry that leaves at 9:00 am to St. Barts, and taking the 2:00 pm return ferry that will get you back to St. Maarten at 2:40 pm. Overall, you'll get about 3 1/2 hours of beach time at St. Barts, and the round trip price per person is 67 Euros ($96 USD).
