Seeing the fireworks on the Wonder

More questions! I will be in a Cat 4 stateroom, deck 8. Is it a possiblity that we could see the fireworks from our balcony, or should we go up on deck? I dont have a cabin number yet, just GTY.

it is a possibility, depending on which side of the ship your room will be on.

You can also go out on deck 4 and look up and see them pretty good. I ahve doen that once before when it got too crazy on deck 9 & 10 for me.

 

I will warm you they do not recommend watching from your balcony, mostly due to the remote possibility of a hot spark hitting you on your balcony but many to watch from there.

We were in a category 4, deck 8, but chose to go on deck to see the fireworks. Depending on the side you're on, you may or may not be able to see them.

 

Go on deck. It's crowded, but not enough to keep you from an amazing time.

Definitely go up on deck for the party and watch Mickey do the slide for life from the stack to the stage. You would only see a portion of the fireworks from a balcony.

It's far less crowded on the top deck (Deck 10) than it is on the pool deck (Deck 9). So if you feel too crowded on the pool deck just go up one more. :)

Mickey ziplines across the deck right? I saw that on youtube, I cant imagine that! Definitely a must see. Thanks for the information.

Mickey does zipdown, but not always! He didn't come down for us on our Oct. cruise. I'm not sure why. Maybe it was too windy?
