Arriving in Nassau on Jan 1 and am wondering if we get our wristbands before or after we get to atlantis? If before, can we get the wristbands and then hop in a cab to expedite our arrival?

The ferry that you board for this tour is NOT the water taxi. It's a specific boat that if for Atlantis tours. You may or may not have to wait for another group to board before you leave, but not the public ferry. As for the wristbands, it depends on who is bringing the group to the dock. Some give out bracelets at the port and you walk as a group to board the ferry. Some give you the bracelet as you board the ferry. You can ask for your bracelet, it's up to the tour director that day as to how they are handling things that day. When there is only 1 ship using the tour.. they may be more lax than when they are trying to board thier people along with other groups. Once you arrive at Atlantis, you don't have to stay with the group.
