Weather in january

Can anyone tell me what the temps will be ie... what to wear for Nassau/Castaway Cay for the 3 day Wonder (Jan. 14-17). Never been on a cruise in the "winter months". Are we talking shorts and sleeveless tops and warm water or capris and slightly warmer clothing? Thanks in advance.

We have always had great weather in December and January in the Bahamas. If you look at the weather sites on line you will see their temps rarely change more than 5 degrees year around it just feels hotter in the summer due ot the humidity.

So expect around 80 and windy. All islands have wind which makes it feel a bit cooler.

I have always worn shorts and summer tops at Nassau.

I have been there 10 times and never had bad weather yet and the seas are usually smooth in the winter too.

 

But always have one pair of long pants and alight weight jacket because topical islands often will have a short afternoon shower. The rain actually feels good but it is wet so a light jacket is often handy to have.
