best ft lauderdale hotels near airport

We are flying into ft lauderdale airport but sailing out of the port of miami. Does anyone have a good hotel with easy access to shuttle service to miami?

We are also flying into Ft Lauderdale before our cruise and flying out of Miami after our cruise. We booked the Sofitel Miami hotel for 100.00. It is 5 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes to beaches. We booked this hotel because when in New York City we stay at the Novitel, which is the sister hotel to Sofitel. We got tired of fooling with priceline and booked direct (expedia) we also booked the Sheraton Yankee Clipper for our 2 night Ft Lauderdale stay before our cruise with expedia, 149.00 a night and this hotel is right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. (Our trip is in March)
