sstich79 Posted December 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2009 I recently cruised on the Inspiration, and there are a few recipes I would love to have that I can't find in these boards or elsewhere. Is there someone at Carnival I could contact to request the recipes, or would I have had to request them while on the ship? If the latter is the case, who's cruising soon that wants to request them for me? ;-)
spencercoop Posted December 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2009 Carnival does have a cookbook with some of their recipes in them. What recipes are you looking for? Maybe some of us already have them.

TravelSmarty Posted December 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2009 This is great! Who knew you could find your favorite recipes from cruises. I went on a Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean once and had the most fantastic marinated pork tenderloin with coconut rice. It might take me a while, but I'm determined to find the recipe. If anyone out there knows it, let me know :)
sstich79 Posted December 31, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Thanks for linking to the recipe thread... unfortunately I had already checked there and in the foodie forum, with no luck. I'd love the recipes for the flatiron steak that's on the Classics menu, and specifically the sauce that's served with it. Also the mango swirl drink... they're like crack! I know it's piña colada and mango daiquiri and I could just make a generic version, but I want the real deal if possible. :-) Oh, and the diet coconut cake... yummiest diet thing I've ever had, I think. Sargent_Schultz Posted December 31, 2009 #7 Share Posted December 31, 2009 If you ask on the ship, they will often give you the recipe. The downside is it might be for 3000 people and not scale very well to 2 people. :p
