lgdavies Posted January 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2005 Does anyone know how many formal nights there are on the 7-day Opera cruise? We just got our tickets for the 1/29 Eastern cruise, but they did not indicate how many formal nights they had. Larry and Marie Davies
Turtle Derf Posted January 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2005 This is the info posted on the Vacations To Go web-site concerned formal dress for MSC Opera Dining Room Dress Code 7-day: 3 formal nights, others 'neat casual'
Lill Posted January 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2005 The dress code in the Daily Program was 2 "Gala" nights, 4 "Casual" nights, and 1 "Tropical or Casual" night. Enjoy your cruise! :)
mirocater Posted January 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2005 MSC's definition of 'formal' and/or 'gala' appears to be a little different. I am not dragging my tux along: dark suit and tie seem to be 'appropriate' for the 'formal' nights.
rak Posted January 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2005 Just got back from an 11 day cruise- 3 Gala nights. Would guess that there would be 2 on 7 day. Suit was fine or even a sport jacket. Seemed a lot more casual than other ships I have been on. You can where a tux but most wore a suit.
