San Juan resort/ great pool

Looking for a suggestion in SAN JUAN for a one night post-cruise resort hotel, where all we want to do is lay on a very comfortable deck chair, toes in the sand, with good service, and pretend that we are still on SD. Dinner in the resort, and then off to the airport the next morning.

 

We have stayed at El Convento, but we want beachside this time. We are always so relaxed when we leave the ship, the hustle of OSJ is more than we want to deal with.

I would suggest two Marriott properties on Ashford Avenue (the 'Condado' strip of hotels). Both the Renaissance LaConcha and Marriott Hotel are located between the cruise port and SJU airport. Situated on a very nice stretch of beach, both hotels have nice pool areas and good size rooms. You will find more couples at LaConcha and more families with kids at the Marriott.
