LaPaloma Posted January 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Tried this a few months ago, but it was to early! We all should have our early info by now and updated Guest Registration forms! I know the following will be on board! Jane BP and Fred--they will be our Wardens--Keep us in line--The Wandering Wino's--I'm sure they have already ordered a couple cases of "Two Buck Chuck" for there suite--if your not from the West you won't know what this is! We will be there--just found out my Johnney Walker Black will probably cost me a little extra for our suite! I'll survive! Who else will be with us? Don :DDon you are too funny with your "Two Buck Chuck" from TJ's comment. While 2 buck chuck is not one of our favorites, it is funny how many wines at Trader Joes are in the under $15.00 price range that are very, very good. This will be our first cruise that we haven't brought on at least a case of our favorite wines with us since Seabourn provides what we hear is some very acceptable bottles of wines for our enjoyment. We just returned from a short but fun wine tasting trip up the coast to the Santa Barbara area. We are so looking forward not only to experiencing our first cruise aboard a Seabourn Ship but also the opportunity to meet our fellow sailors aboard the Legend. We will be sailing with our good friends from Fort Lauderdale/Newport Beach, Patty Gholdoian and Hank Hoffman. Shirley
LaPaloma Posted January 5, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted January 5, 2010 Looks like we will have the ship all to ourselves--not a bad deal! Probably a lot of non Cruise Critic people joining us. On 16 Seabourn cruises we have found only one "stiff"on board--a jerk that had to be escorted away from a hosted table! Seabourn folks are a good fun loving group! I'm no wine expert but I think you will find the wine selection on Seabourn pretty good. We are ready to go--March can't come soon enough!! Don Don I agree with that, I'm on count down for the cruise. DH and I are very excited about trying a new ship and a new cruise experience. We have been on the Windsurf and thought it was wonderful, but it does sound like Seabourn might be a cut above and we plan on enjoying every moment of our cruise. Probably now that the holidays are over we will pick up a few more CC members that will be sailing with us.
johnnycruise Posted January 6, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2010 Does anyone know who the officers and cruise staff will be on the March/April Legend Caribbean cruises?
JaneBP Posted January 6, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2010 I believe it will be Captain Andersson at the helm. Captain G-A will be on vacation and then on to the 'O'.
